At Samson Butchery our primary concern is to ensure that the meat that we serve is sourced from healthy food animals slaughtered, processed and inspected in registered reputable abattoirs. We take extra care and effort to ensure that our mat is adequately chilled and properly stored.

HYGIENE

We adhere to good hygienic principles during processing of our products. We apply the following quality assurance principles:

  • Good Hygiene Practices GHPs
  • Good Manufacturing Practices GMPs
  • Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points HACCP

LICENSING OF OUR PREMISES

Our butchery outlet is licensed by the Health Department of the City of Bulawayo. Our butchery and processes are complying to the requirements and provisions of the following:

  • Public Health Act 15:17, Public Health (Abattoir, Animal and Bird Slaughter and Meat Hygiene) Regulations
  • Statutory Instrument 50 of 1995 and other
  • City by Laws.

CERTIFICATION OF OUR PRODUCTS

We sale inspected and certified meat. Our product is inspected by Meat Inspectors from the Department of Veterinary Public Health.

HALAAL CERTIFICATION

Our butchery outlet is registered with the Council of Bulawayo Islamic Scholars COBIS Halaal Department as a Bonafide Halaal Butchery outlet. The outlet complies with all Islamic Halaal Regulations. All our meat products are Halaal certified.
